Description English: Situated on a hill side, in the Auge region, the Priory Saint-Michel, is one of the rare Benedictine places which has survived from the Middle Ages keeping its main buildings; the magnificent 13th c. tithe barn with its soaring timbered roof, the intimate 13th. chapel with its barrel vaulted ceiling and one of the largest timbered cidrerys built during the 15th. These buildings form a courtyard in the centre of which is a small pond fed by a natural spring.
