Known as a settlement from Etruscan times the farm at Testa di Lepre has been in the Pamphilj family since 1649 when it was bought by Olimpia Maidalchini (sister-in-law of Pope Innocent X and administrator of the Pamphilj properties) The working farm has two herds of cattle one producing milk for the local market and one bred on the farm for meat.
