Description English: The idea behind the Relais stems from its owners' idea of reserving a part of their large ancient house for those visitors fond of tasteful surroundings and tranquillity. Guests will be accommodated in a real B&B, where the proprietors offer a warm, friendly welcome together with their unobtrusive presence. As in the past centuries, when the Grand Tour in Italy was an essential experience in one's own cultural upbringing, the Relais is designed for those visitors longing to know about Italian art, its customs, open hospitality but it will not suit those in a rush or not willing to take things at a leisurely pace . On the lower floor of the building there is a small eighteenth-century private theatre of 80 seats which opens onto a courtyard arrayed by fountains and old earthen vases. The guestrooms are on the first floor.
