Description English: The Columbus Sea Hotel was built in 1992. It stands in the Genoa harbour area, in front of the new Ferry Terminal. This is where all the ferries for Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica and Spain sail from. Half our rooms overlook the harbour and our two restaurants also face in the same direction. The view is marvellous. It includes most of the city with its historic centre and, in the distance, the headland of Portofino. Many cruise ships sail from Genoa to visit the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean. The cruise terminal is only one kilometre away from the hotel, and the EXPO area is at the same distance. It is full of attractions, including the famous AQUARIUM (the largest in Europe), the Shipping Museum, the Children’s City and the Congress Building with its 1800 seats. "La Darsena" conference room can accomodate up to 90 people.
